What you don’t know really does “hurt”.
The greatest threat to projects is a failure to communicate effectively to the stakeholders. Eloquent presentations are fine, but superior communication strategy and execution is more important. Identifying and meeting the communication needs of all the project stakeholders is critical for project success. The key is to disseminate project information often, using different mediums to ensure stakeholder needs are met. What you say is only the beginning.
You will take away from this 2 hour session:
- Techniques to proactively manage the expectations of various stakeholders.
- Determine what, when, who, and how to communicate to all project stakeholders.
- Develop a communication strategy plan.
- The importance of “multimodality” in communication.
- Performance reporting techniques.
