Cindy J. Bell, PMP, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP

is President of PM STAR, a consulting company founded in 1998 which specializes in project management training and customized course development. She has played pivotal roles in managing multiple concurrent customized software development systems and integrating high-risk, large-scale systems. Whether charged with leading multi-million dollar business initiatives to implementation or spearheading technology requirements for newly formed business units, she has a reputation for getting the job done, along with the talent to extract and communicate the key information required when flawless execution has been critical. Cindy was an instructor on the topic of project management for Boston University, bringing real-life project experiences from a wide spectrum of industries, including financial, telecommunications, manufacturing, national defence and the public sector, to the classroom.

Cindy is Past President PMI – South Western Ontario chapter after serving 4 consecutive years as President.


Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

Herman Gonzalo, PMP

Instructor-Hermanhas almost 20 years of management and leadership experience in strategy development, portfolio and program management. Herman has held various senior management and executive roles which includes working on engagements for global multinationals such as Case New Holland, Ford Europe, John Deere and TD Bank. Most recently, as an executive with TD Bank, he developed portfolio management processes, established a Project Management Office, and formed an internal business consulting practice to support business transformation changes. Herman is Managing Director for APIS corp., a management consulting firm specializing in project management consulting and training services. He is also active within the project management community as a Lecturer in Project Management at Ryerson University and on the Board for the Project Management Institute – Southern Ontario Chapter, where he has served on various leadership assignments, including most recently as President.


Ontario

Roaina Hylton, PMP

Instructor-Roianais a practicing Project Management Professional with over 12 years of industry experience. She has primarily focused on consulting and Project management for large complex programs and Information Technology initiatives in Financial Institutions. To complement her project management career, Roaina is completing her Adult Training and Development certification from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. She is also an active member of the TRIEC program, which mentors and trains skilled immigrants to better integrate them into the project management workforce. Roaina is very involved in Toastmasters at the Royal Bank of Canada and is an active PMI Southern Ontario Chapter member.


Ontario

Traci Van Geel, PMP

is a practicing Project Management Professional with over 20 years of industry experience. She has primarily focused on consulting for complex Information Technology initiatives in healthcare, manufacturing, financial and government institutions. As well as consulting, Traci is an instructor with Fanshawe College in St. Thomas, Ontario and regularly conducts classes in risk management for the PMI South Western Ontario chapter. To compliment her project management career, Traci is a certified Service Manager in the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), is an accredited ITIL exam marker, is a level II Gymnastics Coach and is completing her Certified Information Systems Auditor credentials.

Traci is very involved in the PMI South Western Ontario Chapter, having been a past VP of Membership and Finance, Chair of the yearly Educational Symposium and Editor of the chapter newsletter.


Atlantic Canada

Judi Vincent, PMP

Instructor-Judi-Vincent

is an independent consultant and trainer focused on providing professional Project Management and education services. She has extensive senior project management experience in various industries, including telecommunications, manufacturing, engineering, construction insurance and IT. She is a founding member of PMI Nova Scotia and is very active with PMI Internationally. She is a graduate of the esteemed Leadership Master Class in which she was selected to participate. A certified professional teacher by education, she has been an instructor at MSVU, Saint Mary’s, Dalhousie, UNB and MUNS universities, and in custom corporate deliveries. Judi is an energetic and popular facilitator who advocates the concept of lifelong learning and personal growth.

Eastern Canada

Rob Nelson, PMP

is the President of Project Junkies, a Regina-based project management training and consulting firm. Prior to forming Project Junkies in 2007, he spent thirty-one years in the telecommunications industry, the last twelve in project management, leading some of his organization’s leading-edge, mission-critical projects. Rob provided project management guidance and support to the Project Management Division of the 2005 Jeux de Canada Games. The Project Management Institute (PMI) awarded the PMI Community Advancement through Project Management Award to the 2005 Jeux de Canada Summer Games Planning/Project Management Division for the successful implementation of formal project management in planning and organizing the 2005 Summer Canada Games in Regina, Saskatchewan. He has served on PMI Regina/South Saskatchewan’s Board of Directors since 1999, including 4 years as President and 3 years as Immediate Past President. Always the project junkie, he currently is an instructor in the University of Regina’s Project Management Certificate Program and is a member of PMI’s Risk Management Standard Project Team.


South America

Shammy Jairala, PMP

Shammyis Founder and CEO of Paragon Project Partners Ecuador, and PMO Manager of Paragon Chile, an organization which specializes in PMO Implementation. Project Manager, PMO implementation specialist, and expert in planning, design, evaluation and project management.

She has played a key role in the success of projects in organizations in Chile and Ecuador. Shammy is also an instructor on Project Management with PMI and Prince2, ISO 31000 and ISO 21500, using her project management experiences in executive classrooms.

She has served 2 PMI chapter director terms as Vice President of the Santiago de Chile Chapter and Vice President of the Ecuador Chapter.
